Helping families heal from the loss of a child.
To directly assist families who have experienced the loss of a child and support established programs focused on bereavement and grief counseling.
Tatum’s Love Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization founded by Ben & Emilee Blackburn in honor of their daughter, Tatum Lee Blackburn.
Together, with our angel, we will help hearts heal.
The Blackburn’s Story
Her heartbeat was always so strong, her kicks were always so strong, and our love for her from the moment we found out we were pregnant was stronger than we could have ever imagined.
Then, it all changed. From that point on, we fought for her with everything we had until March 3rd; the day we lost her. This was the worst day of our lives and there are days it still does not seem real.
The impact of her brief presence touched the hearts of our family, friends, and caregivers who came together to support us through this difficult time. As parents, the thought of not being with our beautiful baby girl was one we had never contemplated, but one we were faced with.
In her honor, we are choosing to give back to programs created to assist families in the most tragic of losses: that of a child. Along with supporting these programs, we are seeking to provide an avenue for families in similar situations to find comfort in helping others during their time of grief.
Our Board of Directors
Our board members steer the organization towards a sustainable future by adopting sound, ethical, and legal governance and financial management policies, as well as by making sure the nonprofit has adequate resources to advance its mission.

As we walk thru this life with Tatum’s footprints forever etched in our path we believe it is she who is leading the way to new a direction and purpose. We will never fully understand why we were chosen to live this life without her, but as we move forward our pride in being her parents shines brighter each day.
Please take a moment to read these stories of loss and remember that each new life no matter how fragile, or brief, forever changes the world.
If you have any questions, or would like to share your story, please do not hesitate to contact us. It is our strength as community that will endure all and ensure our little ones will never be forgotten.

I’ll never understand why or how things happened the way they did for us. After struggling to get pregnant I felt so blessed that we were having twins. How wonderful it was that we were having a boy and a girl and wouldn’t have to try to get pregnant again!

I had never known that type of love before. Dang, it’s powerful, isn’t it Mamas? All of a sudden life isn’t about you anymore. You created something amazing and they’re living and all you want to do is just love them with all that you have…
Viviana and Mariel Baluja…and the footprints of Bruno Baluja
The day I was initially admitted after my water broke, the admitting doctor told us we could abort him or we could fight. We had opened up our lives to bring our son home and his heart was still beating so we fought…
